Overview

This release includes many enhancements including additional documentation to support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an improved license upgrade process to retain users across multiple changes to a license, centralized custom port configuration, simplified logging configuration, and improved support for Microsoft Windows installations. This release also updates the supported operating systems.

Issues

  • If you currently use Tom Sawyer Licensing, Release 2.0.0, and you update to Tom Sawyer Licensing, Release 2.0.1, any custom port, SSL, or authentication settings will need to be reapplied. If you notice unexpected behavior, contact Support for a resolution.
  • If you are upgrading your license server from Tom Sawyer Licensing Version 2.0, you need to uninstall Version 2.0, restart your machine, then install the latest version in the same directory.
  • The documentation must be opened in Google Chrome.
